Job Description:
L3Harris Technologies has an opening for a Modeling and Simulation Analyst to join our diverse team within the Mission Analysis Group (MAG).
The selected Modeling and Simulation Analyst will work in a fast-paced environment with a geographically dispersed team to analyze and assess the mission impacts of new technologies and products across multiple domains and for a variety of customers.
The individual will work in a collaborative environment and work significantly diverse assignments across domains and technologies.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate digital engineering efforts to integrate system performance and behaviors into operational analysisLead the design and execution of mission-level modeling and simulation studies to assess system performance, inform design trades, and evaluate overall effectivenessDevelop system models using MBSE principles and toolsets for use in multi-domain operational scenariosIntegrate models with higher-level simulations executed in AFSIM, STK, and MATLABDevelop model specifications for establishing a repository of system models for use in various mission-level mod/sim frameworks and multiple classification levelsArchitect operational scenarios for mission level MS&A studiesExecute and deliver analysis from mod/sim results to inform system design, requirements development, and CONOPS generationConduct requirements analysis and architecture concept development in support of multi-domain pursuit effortsManage teams that support programs and pursuits by creating models, simulations, and analysis productsWork with program leadership to execute MS&A to support design validation and mission benefit analysesDevelop new models and processes, enhance current tool capabilities, and perform analysesSupport the development of technological concepts which improve system performance and mission capabilitiesPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:

years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline, OR, 5
years of related experience with a Graduate DegreeAbility and willingness to obtain DoD Secret clearancePrior or current experience in systems modeling and simulationPreferred Additional Skills:
Master's Degree/PhD in Systems Engineering or closely related fieldExperience in supporting modeling, simulation, and analysis space and air domain related problemsExperience with mission level mod/sim tools and frameworksEffective organization level communication, presentation and interpersonal skillsSoftware:
Cameo, ModelCenter, Rhapsody, STK/Astrogator, MATLAB, SIMULINK, AFSIM, etc.
Experience with developing models in Cameo, AFSIM, STK, MATLAB, Python, JavaTop Secret clearance highly desiredIn compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $102,000.
00 - $189,000.
00 (salary ranges in other locations could differ).
This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
