The Cake Decorator will work with a variety of ingredients and potentially machinery to create edible decorations for our cakes.
A successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with food and is comfortable in kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
Use a variety of tools to decorate cakes, including icing bags and tips, pastry bags and tips, airbrushes, and spreaders.
Create patterns on cakes using a variety of techniques, including piping, stenciling, layering, and frosting.
Create large-scale decorations such as flowers and other figures.
Frost small items such as cookies and pastries.
Transfer designs onto cakes using piping bags and tips.
Create designs with candy and other edible items.
Mix icing colors to create a desired color or shade;.
